Hawaii National Bank President and COO Bryan Luke Named Chairman of Western Independent Bankers
SAN FRANCISCO, April 12, 2016 – Hawaii National Bank President and Chief Operating Officer Bryan Luke has been named chairman of the Western Independent Bankers (WIB).
Bryan has been one of our strongest supporters over the years, serving as director and chairman of our operational subsidiary Western Independent Bankers Service Corporation as well as on the Western Independent Bankers board for many years,” said WIB President and Chief Executive Officer Michael Delucchi. “His dedication to community banking and to our mission will make him an excellent leader for the year ahead.”
Luke succeeds Russ Colombo, president and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Marin in California, as chairman. The 1-year appointment was announced during the 2016 WIB Annual Conference for Bank Presidents, Directors, and Senior Officers on Hawaii Island, held April 2-6.

Luke has more than 15 years of experience in finance. He joined Hawaii National Bank in 2006, leading the relationship management and services division. He previously worked for Standard & Poor’s and PricewaterhouseCoopers, and serves on various banking industry and community committees and boards.
