CATCH HIM IF YOU CAN!

Keynote Speaker Frank W. Abagnale will discuss his history as one of the world’s most notorious confidence men as depicted by Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie Catch Me If You Can. As a respected authority on forgery, embezzlement and secure documents, he has been associated with the FBI for more than 25 years.

Abagnale will deliver our Wrap-up Presentation, then lead an Optional Post-Conference Workshop immediately following the Conference!

FAILURE IS NOT FINAL

Our kick-off speaker, Commander Scott Waddle, U.S. Navy (Retired), is the former commander of the submarine that surfaced in Hawaii and collided with a Japanese fishing vessel killing nine people on board. Against the advice of his attorney and the Navy, CDR Waddle took responsibility for the accident. His message on facing failure head-on will inspire you.

Conference Scope Broadened to Recognize Risk Management’s Importance to Bank Performance

As all CFOs know, risk management is as critical to the bottom line as expense and revenue enhancement. Managing interest rate, transactional, regulatory and other risks inherent to banking consumes a good portion of day-to-day activities. The CFO & Risk Management Conference will address those and other key issues through industry insight and networking with peers. You will take away actionable solutions that can keep your institution ahead of the competition.

Three Tracks Will Cover Financial, Operational and Corporate Risk Management

While the conference will still provide timely and valuable information on traditional areas of capital planning, ALM, investment strategies and profit improvement, the conference will focus on the many areas of enterprise-wide risk management. Sessions, workshops and peer discussion groups are currently being developed along three tracks, in order to provide participants in-depth information on those risk areas of most concern to their area of accountability.

  • Operational Track

  • Corporate Track
