We are currently accepting speaker submissions for the following programs:

2012 Workshops – proposals should be submitted no later than February 24, 2012 for consideration

2012 Forums – proposals should be submitted no later than March 30, 2012 for consideration
- Chairman’s Forum (to be scheduled)
- Business Development Forum (to be scheduled)

Submission Guidelines

In order to be considered as a speaker, all proposals must include the following information, submitted to WIB in a Word (or other compatible format) by the stated due date. For a detailed outline of what WIB is looking for in a proposal, click here.

  1. Program Title (creativity encouraged)
  2. Presentation description/abstract (limited to 50-75 words maximum)
  3. Target audience (president/CEO; senior officer; chairman; director)
  4. Speaker Name, Title and Company
  5. Contact person with contact information, including phone number and email address
  6. Speaker Bio (limited to 100 words maximum)
  7. Where else have you delivered this presentation or topic – please note date, location, sponsor and delivery format (webinar, workshop or conference session)

Please note: All topic submissions MUST focus on providing educational (non-sales) solutions to challenges faced by independent banks in the West. Sessions provided through WIB Education Programs should be unique and delivered exclusively through WIB in the Western States unless otherwise agreed. Please note that fees, honorariums or expenses are not provided to presenters unless otherwise agreed. Sponsorship opportunities of webinars or workshops may also available to maximize your branding and audience reach through WIB Educational Programs. How to Submit a Proposal

Once the submission guidelines have been met, please send your submission to jaine@wib.org.  Please note: WIB does not provide payment or expense reimbursements for speaking at our events.

Selection Process

Final acceptance of your proposal may be subject to the approval of an Advisory Committee. You will be notified of the selection status of your submissions within three weeks following submission deadlines unless otherwise noted.
