About the Speakers
Zaid Ahkter, Business Development Director, is a highly qualified and
experienced Business Development Director with HEIT, based out of Northern
California. Akhter has more than 16 years of experience in the Information
Technology industry and a wide range of expertise including: cloud-based managed
services, voice & video over IP, MPLS networks, LANs, call centers and
Microsoft infrastructure deployments. Prior to HEIT, Ahkter lead a national team
of systems engineers focused on large network integration projects for
Enterprise clients. For the last several years, Ahkter has focused on financial
services, regulatory and compliance requirements and the major shift towards
social media.
Paul Reymann, Chief Risk Officer at HEIT, leads the successful execution of the company's compliance and risk management initiatives and services. He is the pioneer and visionary behind HEIT’s cloud-based managed compliance services for community financial institutions. As co-author of Section 501 of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act Data Protection regulation, Reymann is considered to be one of the leading financial industry regulatory experts in the country. He continues to actively educate financial institution audiences on regulatory developments, new compliance mandates debated in legislation and their impacts on the industry today and in the future. Reymann has more than 25 years’ experience working within the financial services industry, including 13 years with the Department of Treasury in Washington D.C.
