What is iConnect?

iConnect is WIB’s version of FaceBook, MySpace or LinkedIn – WIB’s social and business networking community all its own. This online community for our members allows you to network and exchange ideas and share industry knowledge. The conversations, networking and education that are sparked at our events now have a way to be continued throughout the year. This is a community built by independent bankers, for independent bankers and we encourage your participation!

Who is part of the iConnect community?

Employees and directors of WIB member banks may fully participate in the iConnect network. Associate Member firms also may participate. Forums are open exchange discussions boards open to all member bankers, directors and associates. Groups may be set up as open to all or may have restrictions to make the Group a private group.

What can I do on iConnect?

  • Create a personal profile...your personal profile is key to successful networking.

  • Groups are a great way to connect with other members who share similar interests with you. Groups either can be private or open to the entire community. You are able to request to join any of the current groups that have an open membership, or you may create one of your own on a topic of your choosing.

  • Forums allow the community to discuss topics that are important to the industry as a whole.

  • Maintain a blog! We know you have a lot to say, now you’ll have the entire industry reading your words of wisdom in your own blog, or follow and comment upon your colleagues’ blogs.

  • Search for your peers. The iConnect member directory allows you to see out others that are in the iConnect community and make contact with them.
