FDIC Responds to WIB Study on Indy Mac Fed Rates

Market Rates Insight, (MRI)  a research service offering competitive financial market rate data and a WIB-endorsed partner, surveyed banks according to the FDIC regulations defining a market area and found that the FDIC-run institution was paying significantly above market rates following the failure.
