Western Independent Banker Magazine Article Selection and Author Guidelines

Article Selection Process

Authors must be current members of Western Independent Bankers, representatives of federal regulatory agencies or, in certain cases, affiliated with a WIB Conference in order to be considered for publication in Western Independent Banker magazine. 

Each issue has a focus topic. A list of past and future scheduled topics can be viewed here.

As each issue is planned, a request for proposals is sent to each Associate Member main contact and others within member firms slated to receive the request. Interested authors submit a 2-3 paragraph proposal outlining what their article would cover, and those proposals are sent to the Editorial Advisory Committee for selection. Selected authors are then asked to write the full article.
